Hyatt Moore has combined his training as a graphic designer and art director with his deep appreciation for indigenous cultures around the world.

Whether painting Arapaho or Yakama women in native dress or street scenes of Central America, Moore expertly captures their dignity and culture.

Working for Surfer Magazine in the 1970’s and 1980’s, Moore later joined the Summer Institute of Linguistics where the urge to paint began. “From that time on, I have changed course, increment by increment, until I now live and work as a full time painter. The world’s cultures are still my favorite subject matter.”
