Color and Contrast Debuts Sat., Oct. 15
The beginning of October sets our internal clocks and minds in motion. Trees begin turning color. Mornings get cooler. In celebration of the season, Color and Contrast debuts Sat., Oct. 15, 6 - 9 p.m. at The Gallery On Glassell. You'll see the classic look of a rural home in Napa or Sonoma Valley blended with the contemporary look of furnishings made from reclaimed building materials.

This is a perfect opportunity to think outside your traditional design aesthetic. All the paintings on your walls don't have to be plein aire California landscapes. All your walls don't have to be painted white or beige. You can drink red wine with a main course of chicken or fish.
Many of the paintings pop with bright colors. They will contrast beautifully with traditional plein aire style landscapes that are more green, yellow and brown than red, orange and purple.
New colors, tastes and textures in gourmet foods will complement the paintings. New chocolate, new Sonoma syrups for coffee and winter drinks, additional foods from France, Spain, Italy and California are all coming to make your Fall and Holiday season special.
We hope you will join us.
