Color and form in a Latin American theme runs through Maxine Custer's art. Whether designing a respresentational composition or working out a spectacular collage of abstract images, her art is visually and spiritually stimulating.

Custer received her training from Long Beach State College and Mira Costa College in Oceanside, but credits much of her technique to workshops taken from Frank Webb and several other great artists.

Custer currently lives in San Diego County where she teaches as well as creates art.
